CYGNET’S SIMPLICITY SERVICE
Cygnet’s Simplicity meal service was introduced in 2007 designed for schools with no kitchen facility or where space or equipment is limited. Cygnet Simplicity combines traditional cooking methods with modern technology to achieve really outstanding, cost effective and energy efficient results. The specially selected space saving equipment enables prepared food to be cooked off and combined with freshly prepared fruits, salads and delicious breads baked on the school’s own site each day.
A 3 week menu cycle, offering 3 different daily choices of meal is offered. Main meal entrees and desserts are prepared at our Production Unit, blast chilled and delivered in refrigerated vehicle to the local distribution centre. Vegetables, fruits, salads, dairy and other ad hoc food items are sourced locally and delivered direct into the local distribution centre. Individual school’s orders are picked and packed according to the number and type of meals ordered and delivered out to the schools daily, for preparation and cook off the following day.
