Big Bang Bucks 2018

We visited Big Bang at Bucks again this year with ten Year 6 pupils.  This is a special science conference that brings together fun-filled shows, hands-on activities, workshops and careers information.  The Big Bang programme aims to inspire the UK’s future scientists and engineers at a regional, local and school level. It encourages more people to take STEM subjects, as well as celebrating young people’s achievements in science and engineering. The event is a joint collaboration between the Buckinghamshire Learning Trust and Science Oxford with the aim of inspiring pupils in STEM subjects.  As well as the STEM fair, we took part in workshops about the body, plants and sound.
