Class Teachers will continue to provide Remote Learning on a daily basis via Google Classroom and we will also publish Home Learning topic grids under Home Learning on the school website during the school closure period. If you require any of the materials printing, please contact your class teacher by email. You will be able to pick them up or, if this is not possible, we might be able to deliver it. All children are expected to complete the daily activities that are being set by their teachers, whether online or paper based. You can send photos of your child’s work via Google Classroom, to the year group email or drop off the work to school.
Teachers will also be holding a weekly live class session via a link on Google Classroom where pupils can ask questions and discuss the learning that has been set depending on the age of the child. Timetables and an outline of the work expected will be present as well as pre-recorded videos. These lessons can be watched later at your convenience. Depending on age and stage lesson times will vary.
The expectation from the DfE is that Remote Learning will be similar in quality to what is normally covered in school with a balance of online and offline activities. It is important that daily breaks and physical activities are followed.
