Year 4 FUDGE Day
23rd May 2018
On Wednesday 23rd May, Class 4 had their FUDGE Day. The children were very excited about having their grown ups in to help (as was Mrs Haycock because she could put her feet up!) The children spent the day making a guitar that they had designed in their DT lessons. They had been learning all about sound in science so used this knowledge to help them too. Many skills were used such as: sawing, cutting with stanley knives, using hot glue guns and attaching different materials together. In the afternoon, the children wrote a persuasive advert to sell their guitar using lots of descriptive language and rhetorical questions. It was a super day and we would all like to thank everyone that came in to help!
